HomeSick

Jack and Lici are at home today. Our poor little guy was sick over the week-end, with a barky cough, low-grade fever, hoarse voice and a general feeling of lousiness. Lici took him to the doctor's office this morning, where our normally chipper Bear was diagnosed with the croup. I would have sworn that "croup" was one of those fake 19th Century illnesses like "the vapors" or "poor waters," but apparently it's' a real thing. And it's no fun. The only positive thing to come out of this is that the one thing Jack wanted to do yesterday (Mother's Day) was snuggle on the couch under a blanket with his mommy. Which actually made for an o.k. Mother's Day present.
